AERIAL ADVENTURES WITH WOW FLIGHT SCHOOL

Our latest Experience Days partner is WoW Flight School in Umkomaas, offering microlight flying lessons and experiences from as little as R850. Situated just outside of Durban, these aerial adventures make great gifts for Durbanites, and those who enjoy adrenaline-pumping thrills with a dash of scenic sightseeing thrown in. 

There are three options to choose from; the half hour flight, the one hour flight, or the two hour Durban Harbour round trip. The variety available means you can choose the perfect gift for those who might be a little nervous, to those who want to learn the basics of flying, to those who just want to sit back and enjoy an incredible aerial tour - or you could treat yourself! 

Flying experiences are great fun because you can really make it your own. Some like to just enjoy the ride, whereas some prefer to take the controls and feel the thrill of aviation piloting. With WoW Flight School, you can also choose the aircraft you'd like to fly in! With a lightweight open-air frame, the Aquila Microlight is the closest you'll get to flying like a bird, with barely anything between you and the ground below - available for the 30 and 60 minute flights. Having a bit more structure and power behind it, the GT 450 Microlight is perfect for introductory lessons, and can be booked for the 30 minute, 60 minute and Durban Harbour experiences. Finally, there's the ultra lightweight Bantam aircraft - more like a small plane than a microlight! This aircraft can also be booked for the 30 minute, 60 minute and Durban Harbour experiences.
