The 3½ hour experience begins at the harbour, where you’ll receive a briefing from professional guides, before setting off towards the river. You’ll pass beneath the impressive suspension bridge – waving to rapt onlookers as you go – and continue your journey upstream, leaving sounds and thoughts of the outside world further behind with every stroke. You’ll gaze up in awe as you enter bat caves and float in the shadow of towering cliffs – swapping your kayaks for the company’s unique lilos upon reaching the low-water mark. For those feeling bold, there’ll be opportunities for cliff-jumping in the deeper pools, or else you can simply lie back and soak in the unique atmosphere of this special place.

The kayaking and lilo experience on the Storms River Gorge can be booked seven days a week throughout the year, subject to availability.
Minimum age: 5
No kayaking experience is necessary.
You will be required to pay the National Park conservation fee upon entering at the Gate.
Please note, clients are not allowed on our activities under the influence of alcohol.

The day is broken down as follows:
Briefing (10 minutes)
Ocean kayaking (20-30 minutes)
River kayaking (30-40 minutes)
Lilo (40 minutes)
Cliff jumping/swimming (20 minutes)

Spectators are welcome on site, where a restaurant and shortwalks are available.
Please bring swimwear and closed toe shoes. Wetsuits and booties are available to hire.
If the weather is good the experience will launch from the beach. If the ocean is rough then the group will hike through the indigenous forest to the jetty at the suspension bridge.
