Supercar Driving Experience - 1 Car

Yes, you will be able to choose the car you want to drive on the day when you arrive, however this is subject to availability on the day of the experience. 

The Supercar Driving Experienec - 1 Car you would get around 15 minutes of drive time.

Provided that all experiences you wish to purchase are available for the same date, with times that match up accordingly, you are more than welcome to do multiple supercar driving experiences on the same day. Please enquire to check availability before purchasing your vouchers. 

The Supercar Driving Experience is an annual event, generally running every year in January/February. 

Places tend to be limited.

However, the vouchers are valid for three years. You can redeem and book the experience at any time within this time period. 

You must be at least 18 years old and hold a full, valid drivers licence to drive the supercars.

We have spoken to the activity provider for this supercar experience day, and they have explained the following:

"We don’t limit the speed that people get to on the track, but we do ask them to change up between 5500 and 6000 RPM. This is in order to not place undue strain on the engines, as they have to make it through a whole weekend of events.

So, it is higher than most people would change gears because these are supercars, but we don’t allow customers to redline the vehicles and obtain max torque output before changing gears as this would result in engines taking too much strain over an event."

The minimum age for the Supercar Driving Experience - 1 Car  is 18.

Unfortunately as there needs to be an instructor in the car at all times, there will not be room for an additional passenger. 

No, this experience does not include sighting laps. You are able to purchase these on the day of your event for an extra fee. The sighting lap addition, consists of two laps in a Toyota Corolla. 

Unfortunately, refreshments are not served during this driving experience.

Spectator access is free for supercar events and heartily encouraged!

The following facilities are available at Zwartkops for both spectators and participants:

Free parking Toilet facilities on-site restaurant (Pitstop Bistro - sells breakfast and lunch menu items as well as snacks, hot and cold drinks etc)

Grandstand / viewing facilities

Access to pitlane

Card payment facilities

There are also braai facilities around the track if you wish to braai or picnic. You are advised to supply your own own grid and firewood.

This experience takes place on the dynamic handling track.

In the event of a vehicular incident caused by negligence or failure to follow instructions by the participant, they will be liable for the first R50,000.00 in damages. This amount is intended to cover any excess payments or minor damages.

Bookings will need to be made in advance. This can be done after a voucher has been purchased and redeemed.

Once you have the voucher, you can check availability with the provider, before then redeeming the voucher and making a booking.
