Enjoy this one-of-a-kind close encounter whale watching trip in Plettenberg Bay!
This Whale Watching Trip, in Plettenberg Bay, is the perfect choice for those in search of a close encounter with some of the world’s largest mammals. Hop aboard and keep your camera poised as you share the water with Whales, Dolphins, Sharks and Seals.
The group will convene at the office, before launching from Central Beach and travelling east to the striking Arch Rock. From here, you’ll head back across the bay – beyond the point of Robberg Peninsula – to the ‘wild side’, before returning to Central Beach via the site of an original whaling station. Along the way, you can hope to spot a variety of gargantuan marine life – including Bryde’s, Southern Right, Killer and Humpback Whales – as well as Common, Bottlenose and rare Indo-Pacific Humpback Dolphins; Fur Seals and several species of Shark. You’ll be touring with a licensed SABBWWA permit holder – meaning you’ll approach whales from as little as 50 metres and enjoy an up-close view of these aquatic giants in their element. Back on shore, you’ll take home some impressive snap shots and life-long memories.
The Whale Watching Trip, in Plettenberg Bay, offers an unforgettable wildlife experience with the reassurance of an ecologically responsible operator. A voucher would make a unique gift for anyone fascinated by our ocean’s natural wonders.
